In 1959, Hugh Hefner produced Playboy's Penthouse TV show. The format was modeled on a hip swinging bachelor party and the guests included the kings and queens of the world of entertainment who were gathered in an impromptu party. Featured in the 2-DVD set are preformances by Ella Fitzgerald, Nat ""King"" Cole, Cy Coleman, Lenny Bruce, Sammy Davis Junior; the second disc features the ""Playboy After Dark"" series, featuring rock 'n roll by such performers as Linda Ronstadt, Sonny & Cher, Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, Ike & Tina Turner and more. Includes a 12 page booklet with cover by Leroy Neiman.
