The film is narrated by Ariel Brenner, a young man from Paris who left home on his 18th birthday to immigrate to Israel and live out a lifelong dream of service in The Mossad (Israel's equivalent of the C.I.A.). However after his training is complete and the real work begins, he finds that state intelligence can begins, he finds that state intelligence car indeed be a messy business. His assignments become increasingly more problematic in the face of his good nature.
