Valentn Trujillo plays a young taxi driver with unusual boxing ability. Although he has offers to become a professional fighter, he refuses because his mother dislikes boxing and wants a better life for him. One day, he meets and falls in love with Gabriela, a young woman of social position. Spurred on by the desire to deserve her, Valentn accepts a promoters offer and becomes a professional boxer. He then has to face the corruption that permeates the sport in order to succeed and marry his girlfriend.
