Movie: DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR DVD

A period comedy/farce, set in 17th Century Spain and based (quite loosely) on Victor Hugo's play ""Ruy Blas."" Don Salluste is a reprehensible Minister of Finance who is hated by both the people and the Queen. She develops a case against him and manages to have him exiled to the countryside. Determined to exact revenge, Salluste enlists his valet, Blaze to impersonate Count Cesar to romance the Queen and create a scandal. Stars Louis de Funes, Yves Montand.
