The story begins where the original Perro Callejero 1 ends. After doing his time in prison, where he was visited only by the priest who ran the orphanage where he grew up, Perro returns to his life of idleness. One of his old friends introduces him to drug trafficking and Perro and his friends live at the whim of crooked cops. Eventually, those very agents set a trap that lands Perro and his friends back in prison. Thus continues the vicious cycle—steal or deal drugs to survive in the big city, always with the same result: prison or death.
