This movie is without a doubt a classic Mexican film and the best movie Valent¡n Trujillo has ever played in. Perro lives among the rats in the marketplace and knows well the misery of the streets. It is when he finally gets a job and finds love that he has to fight the hardest to keep what he really loves. The movie exposes the hostile world in which an immature young man who has lost his way grows up under the very bad influence of those who will see that he never finds his way. Perro Callejero is a great movie and a documentation of the harsh reality of living in Mexico.
