Movie: MATEN EL CANDIDATO DVD

A power group headed by Manuel Ojeda is planning to get rid of Hector Bonilla, a senator of the opposing party, who has promoted reforms and proposed laws against organized crime. Far from the senate chambers, Jose Alonso, a mime who is married to Lisa Owen, is down on his luck. Lisa used to play music to accompany Jose in his act, but love has gone out of the marriage and they now argue bitterly about family values and how to face the worsening economy. Bonilla’s brother is kidnapped and killed as a warning to Bonilla, who will not back off from his quest in the senate. A war breaks out that cannot end well. Spanish, no subtitles.
