During the last 3 years, Russell presided over an annual cross-Canada train trip that features himself and guitarist Andrew Hardin, along with special guests, staging daily performances on thei train, as well as full concerts in Vancouver and Toronto at the beginning and end of the trip. This DVD documents the 2004 trip, with guests The Hot Club of Cowtown, Kristi Rose, and Fats Kaplin. Included are musical performances, views of the spectacular Canadian landscape, interviews with Tom, Hardin, Dave Alvin, and Eliza Gilkyson, and perforamnces from the Vancouver concert and the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
