In 1989, the all-star quartet of Wayne Shorter, Michel Petrucciani, Stanley Clarke, and Lenny White gathered at Chelsea Studios in New York City for an evening of brilliant music that blended the new and the old. The project was the brainchild of White who added Gil Goldstein and Pete Levin on synthesizers. Rachelle Ferrell makes her recording debut.
