Linkin Park, the biggest contemporary rock band in the world, joins forces with the multi-platinum Jay-Z, one of the biggest stars in hip-hop. Mash-Ups seamlessly blends their songs creating an exciting and unique musical experience. The CD includes versions of existing tracks of these two artists mixed together in the studio, while the DVD features 2 versions of them performing these Mash-Up tracks for MTV. One is the actual MTV broadcast version in Surround Sound. The other is Linkin Park's own 5.1 edit which also includes behind-the-scenes footage of the studio footage of the studio recording, rehearsals, and a photo gallery.
