Movie: ZAPATA DVD

Based on historical facts, anecdotes and testimonies collected during the ten-year war, this is the story of the revolutionary hero Emiliano Zapata. The story begins in 1910 when Zapata was the head administrator of Ignacio de la Torre y Mire, son-in-law of Porfirio Diaz. He falls in love with Rosa Rendon, the beautiful daughter of a landowner, though they both realize that they belong in different worlds. Soon a revolutionary hero is created with the downfall of dictator Porfirio Diaz and encounters with President Madero, who was unable to meet the needs of the peasants due to intrigues within his own cabinet.
