DJ Qbert made history in 1998 by releasing skratch music's most influential album Wave Twisters. Fans worldwide were captivated by the brilliance of this ""new"" music, which told a story using only skratch music - from the drums and vocals to the melodies and sound effects. Wave Twisters had broken all boundaries and opened a whole new world for all to enjoy. Skratching had soon taken its place in American culture as the soundtrack of the 21st Century. But the saga didn't end there. As soon as Wave Twisters the album was completed, Wave Twisters the movie began to take shape. The result is Hip Hop's first animated film, Wave Twisters the Movie.
