On March 6, 2001 in a packed Registry Room on Ellis island, the Irish Tenors presented a special performance. From the verses of ""Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears"", the story of 15-year-old Annie Moore, the first immigrant to set foot on Ellis Island, to the resounding choruses of ""A Nation Once Again,"" ""God Bless America,"" the concert was a truly unique and moving experience. Hosted by Martin Sheen, who set the tone of the evening and suported by the Sinfonia Varsovia, Anthony Kearns, Ronan Tynan and Finbar Wright gave the performance of a lifetime.
