During a routine demon-slaying, Miroku wanders away from the others in pursuit of a young woman. (Predictably, she turns out to be a giant mantris-demon in disguise.) Although the enemy is dispatched easily enough by means of Miroku's Wind Tunnel, as it vanishes into the void of Miroku's hand, its claw damages the edge and now Miroku must return to the monk who helped read him, in hopes that the damage can be repaired before the wound grows and eventually swallows him whole. Contains episodes 28-30.
