Milton Berle was known as Mr. Televison for good reason. When his Texaco Star Theatre premiered on NBC in 1948, less than half a million Americans owned television sets. At the show's peak, two years later, over two million sets were tuning in each Tuesday night to Uncle Miltie's wonderful show. Milton Berle brought his timing, humor and stage presence, honed over years as a Broadway and Vaudeville star, right into people's living rooms. This special DVD program is a tribute to Milton and the show from the legendary Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills, California as other TV icons gather to honor this very special man.
