On May 14, Experience Hendrix/MCA Records will release Jimi Hendrix: The Dick Cavett Show, a new 90-minute home video release on DVD and VHS, featuring Hendrix's two guest appearances on the show, in their entirety, as well as a newly-produced 55-minute documentary and Hendrix's own handwritten Cavett Show pre-interview notes. this special collection features complete live performances of ""Izabella,"" ""Machine Gun,"" and ""Hear My Train A Comin'."" Jimi's insightful interviews with Cavett touched upon a variety of personal and professional issues ranging from his stint as a U.S. Army paratrooper to his celebrated rendition of the ""Star Spangled Banner"" at Woodstock.
