This documentary is about the touring entity that for the past 3 years has seen Soulwax DJing and playing live every night with a revolving array of their friends and some of the most exciting artists today. Recorded during 120 shows using 1 camera across Europe, Japan, U.S., Latin America, and Australia, director Saam Farahmand and Soulwax co-directed 2 films: Part of the Weekend Never Dies: live footage of the DJs and bands on the road, with live footage of 2manydj's and Soulwax Nite Versions with James Murphy, Nancy Whang, Erol Alkan, Tiga, Justice, Busy P, So-Me, Peaches, Kitsune, & Klaxons. The second live film captures the sonic malevolence of the group's blitzkrieg.
