Made at the request of the Stravinsky Estate to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, this highly-praised film celebrates one of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century. Included are documents, photographs, and film never seen publicly before. His 3 surviving children talk about their father, and there are contributions from Madam Vera Stravinsky, musical associates Robret Craft, Marie Rambert, Balanchine, Benny Goodman, Serge Lifar, Jean Cocteau, more. Also included is Les Noce in its original scoring, Petruska recreated by the Bolshoi Ballet in its 1911 choreography, The Rite of Spring, Symphonies, Violin Concerto, The Rake's Progress, The Symphony Of Psalms, and more. The film features the London Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Westminster Abbey Choir, State Choir of Latvia, National Radio Orchestra of the U.S.S.R., and Royal Ballet.
