Set in a fantastic version of the ancient Middle Kingdom, the film follows Lang, a teenage martial arts fanatic, who dreams of finding the legendary DragonBlade, a weapon of ultimate power which may only be wielded by the pure of heartt. When a monster threatens the people of his hometown, Lang, along with a fairy bird named Bali-Ba, embark on a quest for the blade whose power may be the only hope Lang has for saving his people.
