Movie: SIDDARTHA DVD

Hermann Hesse's classic novel take place in 6th Century BC India, around the time of the Buddha. Siddhartha, a young Hindu, leaves his village in search of the answers that his family and religion cannot answer. During his quest to discover the ways of the world, Siddhartha joins the ascetics, visits Gotama, embraces his earthly desires, and finally communes with nature, all in an attempt to attain Nirvana. Harish Bhimani narrates.
