Born and raised in Gulfort, Mississippi, L.A. filmmaker Don Wilson was devastated by the incredible losses of his friends and family. In this film, he returns home to talk to those who lived through the hurricane and continue to struggle with life in the aftermath of America's worst natural disaster. The award-winning soundtrack was composed and performed by Katrina victims. Many lost everything in the storm.
