Based on a novel by Jules Verne, this film follows what takes place when an ancient manuscript reveals the location and time in which someone could enter into the center of the earth. Professor OTto Lindenbrook, his niece, her fiance, and a local shpherd take a journey through a world of caves inside an inactive volcano. Along the way, they discover a lost world that includes a mysterious explorer, prehistoric animals, and dinosaurs. Juan Piquer Simon directs this film starring Kenneth Moore and Jack Taylor.
