Movie: BLIND LEAD, THE DVD

John Covert's first feature returns in this all new Director's Cut. The dark and gritty tale concerns Johnny Boy (John Harriman) who is a failing Chicago playwright descending into madness. Johnny Boy drives to New York to run down a phantom deal for his last play. Along for the ride are his drug dealing buddy Aristottle (Martin Bedoian) for whom Johnny does strong arm collections and his sexually self-destructive girlfriend and actress Anita (Jennifer Shattuck). They hit the road and the road hits back). The drug-fueled all-night drive devolves into sadistic mind games, sex games, and when Johnny Boy meets up with gangster Max (Joe Larocca), and explosion of unpredictable violence.
