This 2 DVD set brings together 2 TV programs from noted music critic Ralph J. Gleason, covering the San Francisco psychedelia scene of the late 60s and early 70s. DVD #1 features the program Go Ride the Music, featuring 2 giants of the era performing live in concert. Jefferson Airplane perform at an intimate indoor venue while Quicksilver Messenger Service are filmed in the open air. There are also cameo appearances from David Crosby and Jerry Garcia. DVD #2, West Pole, features a diverse range of acts including Ace of Cups, Steve Miller Band, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Sons of Champlin, performing live in various settings.
