The main event was scheduled to be Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko defending his title against the winner of the Absolute Grand Prix, but Mirko Filipovic was recovering from foot surgery and could not fight. Instead Fedor defended his title against Mark Hunt. Also included are matches featuring Kiyoshi Tamura, Ikuhisa Minowa, Shinya Aoki, Joachim Hansen, Akihiro Gono, Yuki Kondo, Mauricio Rua, Kazuhiro Nakamura, Tatsua Kawajiri, Gilbert Melendez, Kazuyuki Fujita, Eldar Kurtanidze, Takanori Gomi, Mitsuhiro Ishida, Hidehiko Yoshida, James Thompson, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and Josh Barnett.
