Movie: GULLIVER'S TRAVELS DVD

This title includes dramatized narration by Paul Albertson of the novel by Jonathan Swift with on screen displays of the text so children, family, and friends can read along, or simply listen. Illustrations by Edwin Chapman, Milo Winter, and Arthur Rackham enhance the visual presentation. The story recounts the adventures of Lemuel Gulliver, a ship's surgeon, whose ship is alternately shipwrecked and steered off course en route to its various destinations. Each time, he finds himself in faraway lands where he encounters new and unusual cultures - all of which satirize a slice of 18th century life.
