Deep in the heart of Spain, in places such as Toledo and Cordova, you will uncover the story of the Sephardim - Spanish Jews who were exiled from the Holy Land after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Navon, a Sephardi by descent, explores a slice of Jewish history in this great community that was terminated by the Inquisition some 500 years ago. The journey takes us to historic sites and recent discoveries that reveal more about the Jews of Spain, Portugal, and Majorca. Accomapnying this moving music is authentic Ladino music.
