This reissue DVD includes the live tribute concert to David Lean at the Barbican Center, London, 1992 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This edition includes a full audio commentary of the concert by Jarre himself. Jarre tells the viewer about the complex techniques to synchronize the music of a full orchestra with film footage. During the concert, film excerpts were projected on a screen behind the orchestra as Jarre demonstrates. Jarre also shares many anecdotes about the different films he worked on with Lean, plus lots of other stories, as well as an exclusive 35 minute interview of Jarre with Christian Lauliac.
