Movie: FIRST TUESDAYS AT RONNIE MACK'S BARN DANCE DVD

This DVD is a documentary about a non-publicized, uniquely Los Angeles music showcase that is at once a slice of Americana, and a toe-stomping, emotionally engaging experience with some of the best performers to ever play alternative country music. Some of these performers -- like multiple Grammy winner Dave Alvin, or Rosie Flores and James Intveld -- have been playing Ronnie Mack's Barn Dance since its first days at the Little Nashville Club in North Hollywood, back when it was a live radio broadcast sponsored by a local college. Other performers include Mark Insley, Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, Mike Stinson, Jann Browne, Kathy Robertson, Duane Jarvis, and Rick Shea.
