Writer Bruce Marshal Romans, also stars in this southern drama about William, a creative writing student more interested in pursuing the life of a playboy than one of a student, who goes to grad school to avoid the family horse training business. While at school, Will falls for fellow student Jane (Laura Allen) and is pushed to realize his potential by a no-nonsense professor (Frank Langella).
