Although their names aren't often recalled by music historians, Tony Orlando & Dawn made a sizeable impact on the music scene in the 1970s. By 1974 they had become so popular that CBS offered the duo their own variety show, and this collection gathers nine hours of highlights from the program, which ran until 1977. Combining sketch comedy and musical performances, Tony and Dawn provided plenty of wholesome family entertainment with their show, and always invited an impressive array of guests to costar with them; Jerry Lewis, Jackie Gleason, Alice Cooper, and Neil Sedaka are among the many names to feature here.
