An impulse for this CD came from Friedemanns work with fellow guitar player Christian Straube. It was also the beginning of a new close friendship extending far beyond the musical expectations of either of them. It was so strong that suddenly they were confronted with the idea of forming a duo - and the idea refused to go away again. The tracks played here, including compositions created and played with Christian Straube, offer the listener an extensive menu of sounds and therefore far more delicious than the somewhat limited range of flavours a single guitar can offer.
