Lola's life is unfulfilling. Her relationship is abusive and she is confused all the time. Desperate for change, Lola is by chance placed at the scene of a near fatal traffic accident. She saves the life of a woman, Sandra, who turns out to be everything Lola aspires to be: confident, outspoken, and in control of her destiny. But before Lola can get to know her better, she must choose between a return to her dysfunctional home, or assume a new life with the identity of the mysterious woman.
