Adolph Hitler and Eva Braun commit suicide before capture by Allies, the United Nations is established, the Auschwitz death camp is liberated, the Nuremberg War Crimes tribunal begins and a B-25 Bomber crashes into the Empire State building. The Video chapter features an encapsulation of 1945's major stories told through original newsreel footage, plus trailers for the year's top films.
