Jean is an ordinary family man and factory worker, who has high aspirations for his only child, Marva. Jean believes Marva is an incredibly talented singer. The only problem is, she doesn't want to perform! If only Jean could catch a break, and if only Marva could be discovered! When the factory forecloses, he loses his job and becomes desperate to make Marva's career work out. In fact, he'll go to unexpected and hilarious measures to make it happen.
