When Detective Amanda Reeve (Rachel Hunter) is abruptly taken off the case of the city's serial killer, she starts an investigation into the murder of a renowned law professor, leading her to the doorsteps of the city's most wealthy and influential individuals. The people that hold political power in one of America's biggest cities are shaken to the core as she gets closer to revealing the truth and Detective Reeve must figure out the connection between the serial killings and the death of this professor, before her time runs out.
