Movie: CALL OF THE WILD DVD

The Call of the Wild begins when Buck, a loyal and spirited dog, is stolen from his California home during the Gold Rush of the 1800s. He is brought to Alaska, where he is sold as a sled dog to rugged and fearless Johnny, who has signed a contract with the U.S. Postal Service to deliver mail to those citizens who have settled in the far north. A bond is formed between man and dog, and only together are they able to endure the frigid weather and hardships of the wilderness, and the savage lawlessness of the men who call it home. Stars Charlton Heston, Maria Rohm, Michele Mercier and Rik Battaglia.
