Hitler's forces strike deep into the heart of the Soviet Union. With the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the Unite States formally enters the war and the conflict expands to encompass the Pacific basin as well. In this volume, we follow the decisive turning points of the war: Midway in the Pacific, El Alamein in North Africa, and Stalingrad on the eastern front.
